Registered Physiotherapist
Sean graduated from Brock University with an Honours undergraduate degree in Kinesiology (the study of human movement). From there he continued his hand at research earning a Masters of Science in Kinesiology at Brock University studying biomechanics and neurophysiology. At this point Sean decided he would prefer a more “hands-on” profession than research, so continued on to earn his Masters of Physiotherapy from McMaster University.
Sean has been practicing physiotherapy in the City of Kawartha Lakes for over 7 years now and hopes for much longer. He has completed his certification in acupuncture and dry needling. He is continuing his education in manual therapy (hands-on approach for loosening up soft-tissue or facilitating joint mobility). Exercise has and always will be a staple for an effective approach in rehabilitation and Sean is a big believer in practicing what you preach.
When Sean is not practicing physiotherapy, you can probably catch him at the park with his little one, at the hockey rink, or spraying a golf ball all over a course.
